Settings are default, the only thing that I changed was "Audio output device -> Creative X-Fi analog" and "Number of channels -> 5.1", but this worked for me on OpenELEC. If you dont have a DTS capable decoder then the only real thing you can do is either get a cheap AVR decoder or a set of speakers that does like the Logitech Z906. My Z5500 had this and so does my current RX-V573.
